Mill Cottage is a self-catering holiday cottage near Bunessan, on 'the Ross', Mull's most westerly peninsula. O.S. Reference NM385 219 on Landranger map 48.

Mill Cottage is a traditional stone cottage on two floors, it stands in a quiet position off the road into Bunessan in it's own fenced garden with a small burn running through.

Getting Here

The Isle of Mull is reached easily by drive-on ferry from Oban to Craignure. Leaving every two hours in the summer the crossing takes 45 minutes.

The Oban Ferry should be booked well in advance and booking information is available from - Caledonian MacBrayne

After leaving the ferry at Craignure turn left onto the A849, signposted Iona Ferry, and follow the road through Glen More, Pennyghael and on to Bunessan (approx 31 miles).

After passing Bunessan School on the right hand side the road bears to the right and down the hill. Turn right at the foot of the hill across the stone bridge and Mill Cottage is on the right.

A smaller cheaper ferry runs from Lochaline to Fishnish but reservations are not possible.
